Finish it off Friday

Last week the Shopping Sherpa started doing "Finish it up Friday".  It's a day to finish some kind of project that you have been putting off or just haven't gotten to. I thought it was a brilliant idea so I'm joining her.

I have a few broken chairs that I just put aside in my "projects to be finished box" AKA "Finish it off Friday" box that has been accumulating projects for some time.  Today I decided to take on a small project.

To repair my broken Ghost chairs.

and repair this Reac chair.

It was a very simple task, but it's done!  And guess where I put them when I was done?   In the box designated for chairs....that's right!

The 20 storage boxed I ordered arrived a few days ago and I now have all of my miniatures organized...not to mention open space to work.  I even started to label everything but my label maker ran out of tape.

  5. Well done you! I had to do the same to my ghost chairs (what is it about them breaking in transit? I bought two, they arrived broken, DHE sent replacements, they arrived broken and I just told them it was OK, I'd glue them together otherwise I'd feel guilty about the number of free chairs I'd end up with...)

  7. Organization will bring creativity. I am envious of your work space. Can't wait to see what creative things happen in your newly revived space.

  8. It must be a universal thing that miniaturists have furniture without legs. I have a box of them too. Your workshop looks amazing. How long do you think the super-organised space will last before you're filling it with things you just can't throw away? ;0P

  9. Oo la la. A place for everything and everything in it's place. I have a baggie in my storage called "body parts"! You never know what you will need.
