Say Goodbye to Ocean Drive

I'm starting to get a little burned out on making dollhouses for contests and I really want one that is complete and easily assembled. So, yesterday I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Ocean Drive Dollhouse from DHE Minis, however it wasn't available.  So, I e-mailed the sales department to see when it would be back in stock.  I got a reply last night and it has been discontinued.  To me is so sad because there are so few modern dollhouses that are in production...

Goodbye Ocean Drive.  I hate to see you go even though I never had you...



You look like a great house and reasonably priced too!

Let me know if anyone has one they want to sell!

    Wow, I wonder why. I always liked that they had this one very modern option in a sea of older styles.

    Yes, just start with the white squares and keep adding... hence the Ikea shelves etc. people look to for modern dollhouse forms. CM

      I think it's the sliding doors etc that attracted me, plus the pool. But, you're right modern is a feeling along with the design. You can have modern with a traditional facade...as with my own house. Modern inside 70's updated on the outside.

      Can we all see the Dutch site that sells it? Please. I have one already but was about to buy another as it is such an easy house to assemble, large rooms, so much scope for modern items too. We should all protest to Dolls House Emporium to get it back
